Anchored in and nestled by surrounding blue gums, this simple multipurpose structure serves as a place for gathering, studying, and retreat. A solar-passive skillion roof with a glazed clerestory provides optimal sunlight throughout the year and frames the Bulli escarpment beyond. A natural material pallet of Australian hardwoods, vertical timber screening and cladding reinforces the connection with the surrounding tree trunks.
